Studies that stand up.
Assets that start up.

Hermanas Engineering is an owner-side engineering and project delivery consultancy — closing the gap between technically sound studies and assets that are practically executable, and operationally ready from day one.

01 / Who we are

Owner-side by design.
Commissioning-led by conviction.

Founded by senior practitioners with decades of hands-on delivery, our team has led major capital projects from pre-feasibility through commissioning and handover — across complex multi-contract environments on tier-one developments including Roy Hill, FMG's T155 Expansion, Newcrest Telfer, Iluka Resources and Boddington.

At our core is technical expertise applied to investment decisions — deep process knowledge and flowsheet development turned into robust business cases, so businesses can commit capital with confidence and deliver the value the case promised.

Open-pit mining operation

Owner-side by design

We sit on your side of the table — no engineering hours to sell, no equipment to supply. Our only deliverable is a project that executes and an asset that performs.

Commissioning-led thinking

We plan projects backwards from first production, so studies and execution plans are built around how the asset will actually be tested, started and ramped up.

Senior practitioners only

Every engagement is led by people who have commissioned real plants — from control rooms and mill floors, not from a distance.

Study-to-steady-state continuity

One team across strategy, studies, execution, commissioning and handover — no lost knowledge at phase gates, no reinvented plans mid-project.

02 / What we do

Twelve services.
One thread: delivery.

Click any service for the detail — what it covers, what you receive, and when to bring us in.

03 / How we work

AACE-aligned.
Gate by gate.

Independent technical advisory, study delivery and execution excellence — our study governance and estimating practice follows AACE and AusIMM guidance, so every gate deliverable stands up to scrutiny by boards, lenders and independent reviewers.

How we engage
Embedded & right-hand support

Senior roles inside your project team — scaling with phase.

Discrete scopes

Defined deliverables — commissioning strategies, OR frameworks, contract strategy, completions systems.

Independent assurance & IPRs

Independent peer reviews, constructability, operability and commissioning-readiness reviews at study gates.

Commissioning delivery

Hands-on commissioning and start-up teams — protocols and systemisation through ramp-up and handover.

05 / Leadership

Led by people who have
started plants up.

Behind the directors sits a trusted network of senior specialists — commissioning, environment & permits, project controls and site administration — scaled to each project's phase.
